 Carnaval
Halong Bay 2014 with the theme "Colors of Quang Ninh
- Convergence and Pervasion" will officially take
place in 2 days at Hoang Quoc Viet road (Hung Thang
ward, Halong city, Quang Ninh province). This year
carnaval is organized by Halong city people's
committee in collaboration with the Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism and other provincial
industries.

The main content of Carnaval Ha Long 2014 include:
opening ceremony, art performances, street carnaval
parade and fireworks display at lower level in which
the highlight of the festival is art performances on
stage combined with street carnaval, but in each
section will have new features to attract tourists.
Specifically , the performing arts on stage includes
the presence of the artist in the country as well as
the participation of foreign art troupes. The beauty
of Ha Long will be displayed in difference time and
space, from glorious sunrise to the mysterious
sunset.
The street parade this year will be a great
demonstration with the participation of nearly 4,000
actors, dancers, models, art groups and
international masses of Quang Ninh residents. The
mascot which takes lead at each block will form a
huge stage on the streets with flowercarriages,
dances, folk performances in various ethnic regions
in the province. The program will focus on
introducing the major tourist centers of the
province and the tourism potential of a number of
localities according to themes such as "Halong city
- aspiration of flying dragon" , "Land of
convergenced masterpieces of natural effects" ,
"land of the culturally colourful convergence" and "
land of pervasios and interests.
Over the past 7 years, Halong Bay Carnaval has
become the trademark of Quang Ninh tourism,
contributing significantly to the promotion,
spreading and exploitation of cultural values and
provincial landscapes, thereby inviting friends,
tourists in the country and abroad to admire and
explore the natural wonders of the world heritage
Halong Bay and diversified cultural legacies in the
province.
With careful preparation, Halong Carnaval 2014
promises to attract a large amount of tourists to
Halong bay and Quang Ninh. |
